A deposit of £30 secures your place.
The deposit will be returned in full (along with any other monies) if you cancel 7 days or more before the first lesson. Less than 7 days any excess will be returned but not the deposit.
The course must be paid in full by the first lesson but it is possible to pay the remaining balance in instalments.
The course fees includes the cost of course materials (guided meditation CD’s, meditation journal & handouts)
No one is turned away from my courses through lack of means.
Those that can afford to pay are helping cover the costs of those who can’t.
In this way we all benefit. We all grow.
If you wish to attend but are short on funds please contact me and we can work something out.
If you are truly struggling please ask to be added to the Scholarship Place list, stating the course(s) you’re interested in. There is at least one place on each course but they are allocated on a first come first served basis.
If you decide after the first lesson that it really isn’t for you then I will happily refund the full amount minus the deposit of £30 to cover the cost of the CD’s and the journal.
If you attend further classes then it will be taken as acceptance of the course. If you subsequently drop out after this there will be no refunds given.
I will however offer you a place on a future course.
I will offer a catch-up session if you miss a week. This maybe immediately following the next weeks class or it might be an afternoon one weekend depending on suitability for all concerned.
Miss two classes however and I’ll suggest that maybe now isn’t the right time for you to be doing the course and you will be offered a place on a future course.
Future Course Offer
This offer will be of no extra cost to you however it is a conditional offer to be taken within 2yrs from the start date of the current course. You will be required to sit the full 8 week course (not just the sessions you missed) and it’s only one further attempt not as many goes as you can to complete it within the 2yrs
The reason for this is it’s about your commitment to your own mental development. I’ll help you as much as I can but as my teacher says, think of me as a tennis coach. I can give instructions all day long but you’re the one who’s got to get on the court and hit the ball!
Obviously if there are extenuating circumstances we can work something out.
I once heard a story from another mindfulness teacher of a lady he was coaching. She was in and out of hospital suffering from a chronic illness. As such she missed a number sessions yet he was prepared to work around this because her commitment was so strong.
In fact, due to her improved sense of perspective and therefore quality of life, her commitment was so strong that the only time she missed her 30mins of daily practice was the day she had been rushed into hospital and sedated!
As I say this is about your commitment to your own mental development.
As much as meditation and mindfulness helped me it’s not for everyone when they are suffering from mental health problems and I also respectfully say that I am not a trained counsellor or psychiatrist.
If you are currently suffering from severe emotional distress such as clinical depression or post traumatic stress disorder it is not advisable to sit this course and I would suggest speaking to your GP if you have any concerns about your suitability.
That said I personally believe that mindfulness is a valuable tool in regaining long term stability. If you feel mindfulness is the way forward you may find that a Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) course in a clinical setting would be more suitable for you and your GP/Consultant will be able to help you with this.

Quite simply for as long as I am teaching mindfulness you will have a means of contact whereby I will answer any questions you have on meditation and mindfulness as fully as I am able.
